Construction Quality/Environmental Systems Auditor
(Contract Position)
The ISO Edge is an established, dynamic Canadian company with a mission to help organizations implement quality, environmental, and health & safety management systems, enabling them to increase their operations’ effectiveness and efficiency, improve customer and employee morale, and drive sustained organizational success.
The recent increase in activity within the Infrastructure/Construction/Design-Build area has created the need for a construction quality/environmental systems auditor with advanced knowledge of project-based quality management systems.
In this position, you would be responsible for:
Providing quality and/or environmental auditing services to existing and new ISO Edge clients;
The successful applicant will have many of the following skills and abilities:
ISO 9001:2015 Registered Lead Auditor Certification (IRQA or Exemplar Global preferred) and/or
ISO 14001:2015 Registered Lead Auditor Certification (IRQA, Exemplar Global or CCEA preferred) or
Exemplar Global-Certified ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Training and/or Exemplar Global-Certified ISO 14001:2015 Lead Auditor Training, plus:
Minimum 2-5 years direct construction industry experience
Minimum 15 full quality system audits within either a construction or engineering services industry
Minimum 15 full environmental system audits within either a construction or engineering services industry
An ability to interact well with clients, auditors, and colleagues
Excellent oral and written communications skills (English)
Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
Good MSOffice application skills – PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.
Good interpersonal skills and a high level of self-direction, able to work without supervision for extended periods of time
