Management System Consultant
(Full-Time)
The ISO Edge is an established, dynamic Canadian company with a mission to help organizations implement quality, environmental and health & safety management systems, enabling them to increase their operations’ effectiveness and efficiency, improve customer and employee morale, and drive sustained organizational success.
Our growing firm is looking to add to a new consultant to our team with advanced knowledge of quality management systems as the priority and environmental/health & safety knowledge as an asset.
In this position, you would be responsible for:
Providing consulting support to existing and new ISO Edge clients for management system development, integration, and improvement; and
Providing on-going coaching and guidance to client-based teams.
The successful applicant will have many of the following skills and abilities:
Minimum 5-10 years professional experience as a member of a quality team or as a quality professional/leader (preferred)
Quality Management experience is preferred with QA/QC experience as an asset
Direct experience in establishing, implementing and/or maintaining quality management systems / environmental management systems
Project Management skills including time management, scheduling, critical path and milestone management
An ability to engage and motivate people
An ability to interact well with clients, consultants, suppliers, and colleagues
Excellent oral and written communications skills (English)
Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
Good MSOffice application skills – SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.
Good interpersonal skills and a high level of self-direction, able to work without supervision for extended periods of time
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent College and/or work experience
Certification as Quality, Environmental and/or OH&S Management Systems Auditor preferred or ISO 9001/ISO 14001/ISO 45001 Lead Auditor training (within the last 8 years)
