IATF 16949 Revision Has Begun!

Announced October 24, 2024, the IATF Global Oversight has begun the long-awaited revision process of the automotive quality management system standard. The timing of release will be aligned to the new version of ISO 9001 which is currently under revision and is at the Committee Draft stage. No timing for the release of ISO 9001 has been provided but it is not expected to exceed a release date of November 2027.
